  Old Charity Center

  Your family will get to walk by this historical building of Marseille. The Center is known for its Baroque architecture.  Initially, it served as a shelter for the poor, homeless, and orphaned. The building embodies the charitable spirit of the era, aiming to provide care and support to the underprivileged.

  Marseille Cathedral

  Follow your expert guide into the Marseille Cathedral, also known as La Major, a stunning example of Romano-Byzantine architecture located near the Old Port and Le Panier district. It features an imposing façade of green and white limestone, intricate mosaics, and grand domes and towers. The interior is equally impressive, with richly decorated chapels, beautiful mosaics, and spacious arches.

  Fort Saint-jean

  Admire the stunning panoramic views of Marseille from Fort Saint-Jean, a historic fortification built in 1660. Characterized by robust stone walls, towers, and bastions, it reflects 17th-century military architecture. Historically, it served various military purposes, including as barracks and a prison during the French Revolution.

  Old Port of Marseille

  The Old Port of Marseille, known as Vieux-Port, is a historic and vibrant area that has been the heart of the city for over 2,600 years. Your guide will walk with you through the port and tell you about the rich history of the place.

  Le Pharo

   

  Before saying goodbye to your guide, stop by Le Pharo, located atop a hill overlooking Marseille's Old Port, a historic palace and park with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea. Surrounding the palace is the Jardin du Pharo, a beautifully landscaped park featuring terraced gardens, fountains, and Mediterranean flora, providing a serene escape for visitors.
