The route opens beneath the Arc de Triomphe, at the center of the twelve avenues that radiate from the Étoile. Tour Details
Full Description
We begin at the Arc de Triomphe, where the story of Paris starts at the top of the Champs-Élysées and travels down to the river. Our private guide meets families at a flexible point and sets an easy pace from the first stop, with games and questions designed for children.
At the monument we look at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the carved reliefs, then climb to the rooftop terrace when it is open for a first view across the twelve avenues. The terrace is optional, so families can choose the slower visit and keep their energy for the tower. The walk continues along the Champs-Élysées, with its shop windows, cafés and the constant movement of the city.
The route crosses to the Trocadéro Gardens, the classic viewpoint over the Eiffel Tower, where children count the arches and spot the details of the iron structure. We then cross the Pont d'Iéna to reach the tower itself, following the same line that carried visitors to the 1900 World's Fair.
At the tower we stay at ground level first, walking beneath the four legs while the guide explains how the structure was built and why Parisians first called it a monster. Families who add the climb with tickets continue to the observation level, where the city opens in every direction and the route of the day becomes a map: the Arc de Triomphe, the Champs-Élysées and the gardens crossed a few minutes earlier.
The tour is private throughout, with skip-the-line access and family activities included. Pickup from hotels, the port, the airport or the train station is available on request at an extra cost, and every flexible detail is arranged with the guide before the visit.
